Amsterdam South

Amsterdam south apartment

Oud Zuid

Also known as the upscale neighbourhood of Amsterdam – is one of the most popular areas for expatriates with well preserved, privately owned and spacious (for Dutch standards) houses! The Vondelpark, excellent transportation (20 minutes by tram to the city centre) and a myriad of restaurants, luxury shops and bars offer the best of urban living with a suburban feel. It is also home to the British school of Amsterdam.

De Pijp

The so-called Latin Quarter of Amsterdam, is a lively, multicultural district with long, narrow, parallel streets. Due to constant development by the government, this area has one of the superb amenities and abundant options of modern flats. One French language school is located here: Annexe du Lycée Français Vincent van Gogh.

Buitenveldert & Rivierenbuurt (rivers quarter)

The two neighbourhoods overlooking each other are located in the South district of Amsterdam. This quarter has true urban-suburb features and is marked with respective numbers of large universities, a hospital and parks. Mainly consists of a mixture of simple, medium sized and high large houses that built in the 70’s. Hence, a great housing option for commuter who would like to have a ‘homey’ feeling due to close proximity to Ring highway and south-Amsterdam train station that serves as main hub connecting between Amsterdam city and the rest of the Randstad. There are international schools such as Amsterdam International Community School and Japanese School of Amsterdam.
